Remote is currently a free app available in the App Store. Remote is basically an app that allows you to use your iOS device as a remote. I think you have to have home sharing enabled on both your iOS device and on iTunes on your computer. You can play media such as music and videos. You can use the Remote app on your iOS device on your computers and Apple TV with home sharing enabled. When you open up the Remote app and you have setup home sharing, you should see your devices that you can use your iOS device as a remote for.
